Restaurants: Broadway At The Beach Edition

One of the best parts of vacationing in Myrtle Beach is all the amazing restaurants along the Grand Strand. This time around we want to focus on Restaurants: Broadway at the Beach Edition. Broadway is a great spot for singles, couples, or the whole family, with entertainment all day long and so many great eateries to choose from. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite spots to grab a bite at Broadway at the Beach.

The Grumpy Monk

The Grumpy Monk offers a fun atmosphere, a variety of craft beers, and some of the most delicious food at Broadway (including their hand-rolled sushi!) Choose from items like the Triple Double or Tropical Storm sushi rolls, The Monk Went Up To Philly (Monk’s take on a cheesesteak), and Monk Turds (fresh jalapenos stuffed to the brim with cream cheese, bacon, and lightly fried). Happy hour is daily from 4-7 pm and live music, trivia, and other fun games are offered throughout the week and weekend.

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

If you’re looking for a real southern dining experience, you must go to Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen! This restaurant is all the rave and everything is ordered family style. You’ll choose 2-3 of their Down Home Dishes like Beef Pot Roast, Best Ever Southern Fried Chicken, or Georgia Fried Catfish, and 4 Famous Sides to share at the table. Don’t worry about everyone getting their fill, all your dishes are replenished as you eat! To top it all off, everyone gets their pick from some of the most mouth-watering desserts like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Banana Pudding (a southern favorite), and Seasonal Cobbler. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, be sure to make reservations!

Yamato

Yamato is a Japanese Steakhouse that not only serves up some of the best hibachis around but will keep the whole family entertained as well! They have a large menu filled with delicious appetizers, sushi, and hibachi dinner including combination entrees like their filet & lobster, shrimp & scallops, or filet, chicken & shrimp! Your meals come in large portions, so don’t forget to ask for extra yum-yum sauce! Yamato’s stays busy so make sure to reserve your table ahead of time.

Rooster’s Restaurant & Bar

Laidback with some of the best chicken entrees on the Grand Strand, Rooster’s is a perfect place for a low key bite. Some of our favorites on the menu include the Fried Chicken Sandwich smothered with American Cheese, pickles and toasted on house-made buns, the Rodeo Burger, and their Buffalo Chicken Salad. Rooster’s is also a great spot to grab a few drinks with friends, they serve Gigantic Cocktails like Rooster Punch, as well as bottled and draft beer.

Wahlburgers

The famous Wahlberg brothers’ burger joint Wahlburgers has come to Myrtle Beach! Here you can enjoy a variety of cocktails and food items like their signature The Our Burger, a 1/3lb burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, government cheese, pickles, and topped with Paul’s homemade Wahl sauce. This is a great place to bring the family and enjoy a unique spin on burgers, fries, and floats.

Landry’s Seafood House

The family-friendly eatery is serving up some of the best seafood on the Grand Strand! Grab the family and head over to Landry’s for a dinner that won’t disappoint. Try some of their savory appetizers like fried calamari, oyster bar trash, or New Orleans crawfish bread. After your starters order delicious seafood entrees like crab cakes, fresh catch of the day, and IPA fish & chips!

Melt

How does wood-fired pizza or artisan-inspired sandwiches sound? Are you drooling? We are too! Melt is one of the newest locally-owned restaurants to open at Broadway and they are dishing out some of the best hand-made pizzas in Myrtle Beach. Try one of their specialty pizzas like the Green Goddess with olive oil, basil pesto, red bell peppers, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese baked fresh in their open wood-fired oven.

King Kong Sushi

If you have a hankering for sushi, make sure King Kong Sushi is on your Broadway at the Beach restaurant bucket list! The chefs at King Kong roll fresh sushi to order daily and have an extensive sushi menu. Try unique rolls like the Russian Rouleet Roll, Crazy Roll, Lava Roll, and more. Not a sushi lover? You can also order chicken, beef, seafood, and surf and turf combos from their Hibachi menu.

Wet Willie’s

Looking for a great spot that’s just for the adults? Head over to Wet Wilie’s for amazing pub grub and the best frozen drinks on the Grand Strand. Wet Willie’s is the perfect place to hang and snack while you enjoy an adult frozen beverage and live music on their outdoor deck. Nosh on starters while you drink or if you’re feeling a bit hungrier, try one of their burgers or sandwiches. When it comes to frozen daiquiris, Wet Willies doesn’t play around. They have 16 amazing frozen beverages that you can try by themselves or mix and match like Monster Melon, Chocolate Thunder, Call a Cab, and Shock Treatment –just to name a few.

Dave & Buster’s

Definitely not your average restaurant, Dave & Busters is serving up food and fun all night long. Bring the kids and splurge on a variety of pub grub favorites and combos like their Smashed Bar Burgers, Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Sliders, and more. After dinner, load a few Dave & Buster’s cards, grab an ice-cold beer and play some games with the kids! This place is a guaranteed great time for the entire family!

Margaritaville

Waste away in Margaritaville. That’s right Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is at Broadway at the Beach and you can chow down on wings to the left and wings to the right! Or just like the song, try one of the famous Burgers in Paradise like the original Cheeseburger in Paradise, Garlic Bacon Burger, or Rancho Deluxe Burger. While you’re enjoying great food and fun, you can also enjoy live music too! After dinner, be sure to stop by the Margaritaville store and bring a little piece of island life home with you.

Joe’s Crab Shack

Attention all crab lovers, head over to Joe’s Crab Shack for buckets of crab and other great steamed buckets! Joe’s Crab Shack has a wide variety of amazing seafood starters, entrees, salads, and more. Share Joe’s Classic Sampler with crab & shrimp bites, great balls of fire, and crispy calamari, then order one of their fresh steamed crab buckets as your entree. What goes great with any dinner on vacation? A specialty cocktail or a cold beer! Try a special cocktail like the Shark Bite, TKO Punch, or Category 5 Hurricane. If you’re more of a beer lover or from Joe’s draft or bottle beer menu. Whatever you choose, you’ll certainly enjoy and be relaxed at this low-key restaurant.
