As 2023 winds down, we are eager to jump into 2024 – and what better way to celebrate than with a party at the beach? The Grand Strand will be rockin’ this New Year’s Eve with plenty of amazing events that you can safely enjoy with the whole family. Ring in the new year, and wake up in 2024 to a complimentary hot breakfast just steps from your beachfront suite at Monterey Bay Suites in Myrtle Beach.
A Southern Times Square
Where: The Market Common
When: 9:00 pm
The Market Common will host its annual New Year’s celebration beginning at 9 pm this New Year’s Eve. This Myrtle Beach New Year’s Eve event boasts New York-style grandeur in a quaint, Southern setting. A Southern Times Square will feature fun for the whole family, beer, wine, and bubbly selections, live entertainment, and local food vendors. Area restaurants will remain open for dining during the event. The evening will conclude with a drone display (new in 2023!) and the ball drop at midnight.
New Year’s Eve 2024 Party
Where: Banditos Cantina
When: 7 pm
Celebrate the start of 2024 at Banditos Cantina, an oceanfront restaurant inside THEBlvd entertainment complex. Guests will enjoy live music, delectable food, holiday drinks, and a celebratory midnight toast. Arrive early to have dinner with breathtaking views of the Atlantic!
Top of the World: A Carpenter’s Christmas

Enjoy a nostalgic journey through The Carpenters greatest hits at Top of the World, a world premier tribute to The Carpenters. Showcasing the famous band’s greatest hits and your favorite holiday classics, this tribute show is the perfect way to ring in the new year in Myrtle Beach. Talented vocalist Debbie Taylor stuns with her auditory resemblance to Karen Carpenter, backed by an incredible band of artists dedicated to the recreation of The Carpenters signature sound.
New Year’s Weekend Bash on the Beach

When: Friday, December 29, 2023 – Sunday, December 31, Doors at 8 pm
Fill the whole weekend with New Year’s fun right on the beach at 3001 Nightlife. Doors open nightly at 8 pm for this three-day extravaganza, offering live DJs and entertainers, party favors, a free champagne toast, and the midnight ball drop. Save when you buy your ticket in advance!
New Year’s Eve on The MarshWalk

When: 10 am – 7 pm
This annual kid-focused event at LuLu’s in Barefoot Landing gives kids the opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Eve early, so they don’t miss out on the fun or their bedtime! Guests enjoy arts and crafts, kid safe “fireworks”, face painting, live music, and a beach ball drop at noon.
New Year's Eve Comedy Extravaganza
